I'm super excited to write this post. Usually, I wait a week or two (sometimes months) to post up pictures, but these cakePOPs are...SOOOOO CUTE!!!!!
Ever since I saw the Bakerella blog on her cakebites & etc, I've been waiting for an occasion to make these cute little delectable creations!
So what do you need to start this fun little project to put the 'excitement' back into birthdays or as Emerald would say the "BAM!" back into desserts.
1. styrofoam 2. sprinkles 3. cute birthday accessories: tissue paper + paper gift bag + container 4. flower cutouts
5. candy melts 6. microwavable bowls 7. ribbons
8. ghirardelli chocolate
Then mix cake with your favorite buttercream and mold them into these little cupcake shapes. Follow the rest of the detailed instructions on Bakerella's site.
WALA! cakePOPs!!!!!
Packaged and complete with a golden 'homemade' seal to make the birthday boy feel extraordinary.
I also boxed some of them into a little chocolate truffle box as little preview tastings not for the birthday boy but the friend that asked me to make these for him. Such a sweet & thoughtful friend. :)
Then we packaged these puppies up...
These cakePOPs are ready to make a bold statement at this party.
Once these cake-popping goodness arrived...they were a KnocK OuT!
Just see for yourselves...
There were some sounds of YAYYYYY!
There definitely were some sounds of 'Hmmmmm'!
Yuppers! Bakerella was right...these little delights are cake-popping Yummm!
